Today I started into the new season with the first of three Cross Country Runs in Vienna. It went quite well! Since I didn`t really prepare for it and had practise yesterday I knew that I shouldn`t get my hopes up to high. With my muscles sore from thursdays first intervalls on the track I really wasn`t too ambitious. Nevertheless I could win the race in the U20s and was the first women overall! Now that Christmas is around the corner, the days left of 2016 are countable. One hell of a year. So much happened and so much has changed. People come into life and people leave it. Its strange how these things happen as its ordinary. I hate losing people that once were close. Its like they suddenly dont want to know you anymore while you havent done anything different. But these expeiences teach and I certainly wouldn`t be as mature as I am right now. Well besides that this year went good!...

You can call me Viennese Cross Champ! After last years 3rd place this was a nice little enhancement! Despite the fact that I, you can actually say "destroyed" myself on the day before, I got a nice time over the 4k. This years course was more challenging than the last few years. There were hay bales put in our way. Even thought they looked so small, they made my legs scream more every lap. The number of participants this year was so much bigger than last year too! And it made much more fun....

Since I was wrapped up in a lot of stuff lately, I couldn`t really write a lot, but here is the update: We`ve got another cat! His Name is Maxi and he`s 15 years old. Yeah sounds strange, but it`s the cat from a friend who couldn`t have it anymore. After even halfly forgetting this competition, I was more than relaxed. I had literally no expectations and just ran. It felt a lot better than in Podersdorf and I `m really refreshed after my break. Of course school is keeping me busy and seeing it from this perspective, I `m exhausted, but the practise break really helped me.
